Wapping Crafters monthly meetings

Wapping Crafters

Following the success of the first Wapping Crafters meeting held in November [view post], this has become a regular monthly event, where local crafters have a chance to meet fellow local residents with similar crafty credentials and share tips, over tea and coffee.

The Wapping Crafters group hold a regular monthly meeting at 10am on the first Tuesday of every month at the Turks Head cafe in Greenbank, Wapping.

Everyone is welcome – knitters, needleworkers, jewellery makers, makers of anything from absolute beginners to more experienced crafters.

Founder of Wapping Crafters, Kathy invites all crafters out there and says:

“The Wapping Crafters is a small and friendly group of people who just like making things. It’s free to join and anyone interested in any type of craft is welcome regardless of whether you’re an experienced designer /maker, a hobby crafter, a recycler or are completely new to crafting.

We meet informally at 10am on the first Tuesday of every month at the Turks Head, Greenbank (on the corner of Scandrett Street), Wapping to chat over coffee and share ideas and skills.

Anyone who would like to be involved but can’t come to meet-ups is welcome to connect with us through The Wapping Crafters Facebook Page or email kfs7777@gmail.com.

We’re also keen to set up stall shares for anyone wanting to sell work and to make links with similar groups.

Look forward to hearing from all crafters out there – and you don’t have to live in Wapping, we just liked the name!”
