Superyacht Sea Owl passed Wapping and under Tower Bridge at midday today, 17th October and paraded in the Pool of London on the River Thames for half an hour.
The newly built superyacht Sea Owl measures 62 meters in length and has a steel hull and an aluminum superstructure.
Sea Owl is owned by American multi millionaire Robert Mercer, who is one of the highest earning hedge fund managers.
Besides the owners stateroom, Sea Owl has three guest cabins, two kid’s cabins and a nanny cabin. The luxury yacht has a crew of eighteen.
Accompanied not just by photographers in a helicopter and a small dinghy, Sea Owl also found fans and boatspotters on land as she made her arrival into the City of London.
Thames Pics also have a great post covering Sea Owl’s arrival today [view post].
Hopefully those aboard Sea Owl got a good view of beautiful Wapping from their super yacht as they left London to return to a mooring down river near Canary Wharf.
