New Wapping crafters group coffee meeting on 19 November 2013

Turks-head-cafe-2013

Crazy about crafts? Nuts about knitting? Handy with you hands? Well you just got lucky.

One of Wapping’s local residents is a keen crafter and is starting a Wapping Crafts Group, with the first meeting to be held at 10am on Tuesday 19th November 2013 in the Turk’s Head cafe in Greenbank.

Everyone is welcome – knitters, needleworkers, jewellery makers, makers of anything from absolute beginners to more experienced crafters.

You’ll have a chance to meet other local residents with similar crafty credentials and share tips, over tea, coffee and maybe even a cheese toastie.

The historic Turk's Head cafe on the corner of Greenbank and Scandrett Street in Wapping was a former public house

Access to the Turk’s Head cafe is via a small step on the Greenbank entrance, with wheelchair access via the Scandrett Street entrance. No wheelchair access to the toilets which are in the basement.

Just turn up or email Kathy on kfs7777@gmail.com for more details or to keep updated with future Wapping Crafts Group meetings.
