Hussey’s Butcher hit by car in Wapping ice accident

Hussey’s Butcher hit by car in Wapping ice accident

The shop front of Hussey’s butcher in Wapping Lane was badly damaged this morning when it was hit by a car that skidded and crashed on lethal ice.

Police received a call around 6am this morning and attended with ambulance crews but thankfully no one was injured.

The middle of Wapping Lane was closed for a couple of hours until the vehicle was removed and the the shop secured.

The car involved had been parked on the opposite side of the road and had been pulling away when the driver lost control as the car skidded on black ice.
