Christmas arrives in St Katharine Docks

Christmas arrives in St Katharine Docks

The lights on a 25ft Christmas tree were switched on tonight in beautiful St Katharine Docks and launched the first of three festive Fridays.

A Christmas tree ice sculpture was also created today and can be seen on the floating pontoon.

The St Katharine Docks Friday Good Food market will open 11am to 7pm each week and is adding minced pies, roasted chestnuts and other seasonal goodies alongside the regular stalls.

A festive craft workshop will take place on Friday 13th December from 12pm to 2pm and include a ‘Crafternoon’. Visitors will be able to make personalised baubles, stylish Christmas wreaths, Christmas cards and supersized colourful tissue pom poms.

For full details including a carol service with All Hallows by the Tower Choir, please see www.skdocks.co.uk

We hope to get them into as many local shops who will take them this week, so will post an update as soon as they’re properly out there

Awesome, thanks for flagging this up. Are What’s in Wapping sponsoring a local Christmas Card? If so where can we buy them?
